Installing Soulframe
Installing Soulframe is easy after joining the Soulframe Preludes! Envoys who have been accepted into the Preludes will receive an email with a direct link to download Soulframe.
If you are having difficulties accessing the link, you can go directly to our website and sign in. Once signed, a new download link will appear at the top of the page you can use to start your adventure.
Installation Problems
- The launcher is stuck after opening: The first time you run the launcher, a new window will pop up asking where to install Soulframe. Hunt around for it as it can sometimes be hidden behind the launcher or in the bar at the bottom of the screen.
Once you have chosen a folder to install Soulframe on, the process will continue normally.
- Check for blocks: Firewall or routing software/hardware will generally have advanced settings to prioritize and manage types of network traffic. Sometimes this software can interfere with the delivery of data when Soulframe is installed for the first time. Fixing it can be as simple as telling that software to allow Soulframe through its filters. To do this:
- Add an exception to all of your firewall and anti-virus software (including Windows Firewall) for "Launcher.exe" and "Soulframe.x64.exe".
- If you are using a third-party firewall you can test temporarily disabling it to see if the installation is getting blocked. If so, contact the program's support team for assistance configuring it for Soulframe.
Remember to re-enable the firewall after completing this test - If you are running a proxy or VPN, we recommend disabling these as well to confirm if the traffic they are routing is interfering with your download.
- Installing Soulframe or Warframe forces the other to be reinstalled: If this is happening, you may be installing both games in the same folder. Please manually create separate Warframe and Soulframe folders and redirect the installation for each game into its respective folder.
